Entrepreneurship of Ambreen combined with her integrity and compassion for Kashmir, supported by her  husband Basharat Rashid , a renowned travel writer cum ardent tourism/hospitality professional , made it possible to have such a boutique Cottage Homestay developed in outskirts of Srinagar city , exclusive for the staying guests with all facilities.  

Cherrytree Resort a first of its kind Adventure Boutique cottage Homestay  is built with the purpose to promote Village Tourism and bring closer real culture of people to the visitors and give them experience of mountain adventure , a small step to boost local economy , employment and Promote nature & adventure tourism in Kashmir valley. 

We have made another similar cottage at present area to facilitate more guests ,

further promote local employment and make viable village tourism development.

This 08 bedroom & suite - luxury cottage is registered as Homestay with J&K Tourism Department and has been operational since October 2017, and earned the customer satisfaction of high end and budget clients equally. We operate mostly on full cottage basis , and do offer private rooms also during the high occupancy months . Usually the property  remains closed during peak winter months of January and February for maintenance purpose.

In recent times  the Cherrytree Resort had the honour of hosting some of the VIP Bollywood stars, Web series and the Music albums to add charms of nature and culture of Kashmir. 

Situated amidst the Himalayas of Dhara forests (Harwan) at an Altitude of 1940 meters, 

 just 5 Km from Harwan Garden and Dachigam National Park. 23 Km from City center and  33 Km from the Srinagar International Airport (About 1 Hr Drive) . 08 Km from Shalimar Garden ,  10 Km from Nishat Garden and Dal Lake .
